How to care for and clean my jewelry?
To keep your Sautoirs looking their best, limit the gemstones’ exposure to perfume, creams, makeup, household cleaning products, spring water, seawater and other chemical liquids that could damage them.
We strongly recommend removing your jewellery before sleeping, bathing, showering or exercising.
In rare cases, stainless steel may oxidise when exposed to skin or perspiration with a highly acidic pH, although it is much more resistant to corrosion than ordinary steel. Repeated friction may wear away the gold-coloured coating, revealing the dark grey or black colour underneath.
Gold-coloured hematite beads may darken, tarnish or lose their golden colour, depending primarily on their surface treatment. Hematite is naturally metallic grey to black. The gold-coloured hematite beads used in jewellery generally have a gold-coloured coating applied through a surface treatment.
When you are not wearing your jewellery, store it in your jewellery box.
